TUITION FEE SCHEDULE 2009-2010
45 Minute 2 yr old - Creative Movement Class $40 every 4 weeks
One Hour class meeting once weekly $46 every 4 weeks
Prep Classes - One hour thirty minute class meeting once weekly $58 every 4 weeks
Prep Comp Classes - One hour thirty minute class meeting once weekly $62 every 4 weeks
Boys classes - One Hour class meeting once a week (discount w/sibling) $46 every 4 weeks
Adult Classes - Ladies - Mens - Young Adult & Tap see schedule
REGISTRATION FEE: There is a registration fee of $25 per student or $40 per family.
TUITION FEES: Tuition payments are made for 10 months (September thru June) with the first and last month’s payment due the 1st class in the new dance season. All other tuition payments are due the first lesson of each month. The school does not deduct for illness, vacation or absences. Monthly statements are sent only if your payments are delinquent. Payment may be made by check, cash or credit/debit card. There is a 5% discount on yearly tuition if paid by September 30, 2009 using cash or check.
Any lesson payments made after the month in which they are due will automatically incur a late charge. If monthly payments are not met, the school reserves the right to withhold services until payment is made.
Enrollment is for the full 10 month term. Proper notification is required for withdrawal of the student at any time. Without notification you will continue to be charged for classes.
There is no refund on registration, monthly tuition, or costume deposits (once costumes and/or materials have been purchased/ordered) if you choose not to complete the year.
FAMILY DISCOUNTS: The Dance Studio offers family discounts for members of the same family. The first student pays full price. The second student receives a 15% discount on tuition, and the third from the same family gets a 50% discount on tuition. Special discounts for brothers who have a sister enrolled and adults who have child enrolled. Discounts are on tuition only.
ATTENDANCE: Good attendance is key to both individual and class progress. Please notify the studio in advance if you must miss class. You may attend another class at your level to make-up any missed classes thru April.
DANCE TROPHIES: Trophies are awarded annually at your dancer’s final show. The number of years you have danced will transfer into the year trophy.
PROPER ATTIRE: Female dancers are expected to wear dancewear to class to enable the instructors to see bodylines for correct body placement. Dancewear is defined as: leotard/tights/crop top/booty shorts/jazz pants. Hair should be pulled back and secured.
Male dancers should wear shorts and shirts (not baggy) or fitted sweat clothing.
SPRING PERFORMANCE: Each June dancers participate in a fully costumed and lighted production showcasing the year’s accomplishments. The event is a very professionally staged production that the students look forward to with excitement and anticipation each year. Exact dates/location and procedures will be distributed at a later date.
COSTUME PAYMENTS: Costumes for the spring performance are purchased by each student. There are no refunds on costume deposits once costumes are ordered. Ordering begins in December to ensure costume arrival in late April, early May. All costume balances and tuition payments must be current before costumes will be distributed. Costume payments are made in two deposits one by October 30 and the second by November 30 with accessory balances billed in late April. The amount of each deposit is listed below:

FUNDRAISING
We do a fundraiser mid fall for the purpose of defraying costume costs. This fundraiser includes poinsettias, wreaths/cookie dough/candy and wrapping paper. Participation is optional. Information to follow.
Also you have an opportunity to sell “Enjoy the City Book” and “Happenings Books”.
Enjoy the City Booklets: Are available thru Wednesday, September 23rd. The books sell for $20 each with a profit to your fundraising account of $10 per book sold. You may sign out one book to show people and pre-pay for any others that you sell. Books are non refundable including the book that you sign out.
Happenings Books: Are available thru Wednesday, September 23rd. The books sell for $30 each with a profit to your fundraising account of $8-$9 for each book sold (the profit is based on how many books we sell as a group). You may check out up to 3 books without payment. Payment is due by September 23rd along with any unsold books.
All checks for both books should be made out to “The Dance Studio” making sure to write your dancer’s name and group in the lower left hand corner. If you choose to use a credit card when turning in your money there will be a charge back against your profit off the gross sale of 3%
