Newsletter – February 2012

CD Order
If you are in our Recreational/Prep program you may order a CD of your music for our show at a cost of $8. The form is attached and needs to be returned with payment no later than March 1st.
If you are in a performing group or Prep Comp class a CD will be ordered for you and the charge applied to your balance due for March.
NFDC Members/Prep Comp Members
We must have a birth certificate on file for all NFDC members and Prep Comp classes. If you are new to the studio or have not filed one with us please do so.
Target Field Fundraising
Any NFDC or Prep Comp families that are interested in fundraising at Target Field for the 2012 Twins season please make sure you are on our email list to receive information as it becomes available.
Dads Class
Reminder that our Dads class will start Wednesday, March 7th. Class time will be from 9:00-10:00pm.
Show Dates 2012
Our annual Shows will be held at Northwestern College in Roseville once again. Show dates are Thursday, May 31st thru Sunday, June 3rd. Dress rehearsal dates will be May 29th and 30th. Your dancer’s exact schedule of dates and times will be sent home in March/April.
Pictures
We will be taking class and individual pictures the week of April 23rd thru April 27th.
Please be aware that we do our best to schedule pictures during your normal class time if you are in our recreational program.
An exact picture schedule will be out in March.
Costumes
Costumes have been ordered for all Recreational-Prep and Prep Comp groups. We will start showing pictures of costumes to classes and parents in the next couple of weeks.

Preschool & Kindergarten/1st Grade Classes
Christmas Presentations
Preschool and Kindergarten/1st grade students will be doing a short Christmas presentation for parents (grandparents also welcome) December 14th thru December 20th.
Please have your dance wear the following to class that day:
Preschool – Christmas dress/outfit and a winter scarf
Kindergarten/1st Grade – Christmas pajamas
Dancers should come to class on this day dressed, according to their age level, at their regular time. Parents will be called in according to the schedule.
*Don’t forget your tap and ballet shoes.
Before the presentations the students will have a small Christmas party with their teachers that includes a gift exchange. If you would like your dancer to participate in the gift exchange please send a wrapped gift between $10 and $15.
