THE DANCE STUDIO SPIRIT MONTH
For those of you who missed this in last month’s Newsletter here it is again!!!!
During the month of May we will be having themed weeks. Please dress up following the schedule below.
Week of May 3rd – Wacky Hat/Hair Week
Week of May 10th – Pajama Week
Week of May 17th – Project Runway Week
(wear your own fashion statement)
Week of May 24th – Beach Party Week

Ticket Sales – Recap
Reminder that tickets for show are on sale from Monday, May 3 thru Friday, May 14th at close of business. You may add or subtract from your order thru the 14th. All ticket sales are final after May 14, 2010. Tickets sold during this time slot are $15.00 each and go into a lottery draw for best seating.
Tickets sold after May 14th are $17.00 each and sold on best seating available.
Actual tickets will be available for pick up here at the studio starting on Thursday, May 20th at 4:00pm. If you do not pick your tickets up at the studio we will have them at show for you.

Volunteers Needed
We are still looking for volunteers to work in the classrooms with your students during shows. We like to have 3-5 moms working with dancers in each class.

Awards
All students will receive a trophy at their last show. After you have changed out of your costume please go back up on the stage and the teachers will be there to give you your trophy. Trophy size is based on years danced. If you have not checked our list please do so with in the next week to ensure you receive the right year.

Final Balances – Recreational Classes
Final Costume and tuition balances are going home with dancers this week for all Recreational classes.
Balances are due by May 17th. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.
All performing group members reminder that you have 10 monthly tuition payments so there is a June payment due. Costume balances are also starting to go out and National fees will be out shortly.

Pictures
Pictures will be available for purchase here at the studio shortly. A Complete package which consists of Group 5x7, individual 5x7, 2 individual 3x5 and frame
in one costume is $18.50 + tax (if you have 2 costumes you have 2 complete packages). Other pricing options available.

CHECK YOUR LETTER
Please check your show letter for your Final Day of class here at the studio-your dress rehearsal schedule-and your show dates. If you are unsure of any of these please check online at thedancestudiodancers.com or call us at 763-862-9966.

Target Field Training
Our performing group and prep comp parents work at Target field for twins games to cover competition fees and extra costs. If you are interested in competing groups for next year and would like to fundraise in this way you must go thru training. There is a training session coming up on Wednesday, May 19th at the Anoka City Hall – 6:00pm
You do not have to register – just show up – sign in and let us know once you have completed training.
You will be added to our list of workers and will receive available work dates
